Terms of Service

1. The service

MatchUp is a free tool for tracking sports match results within private groups. We reserve the right to change, suspend, or discontinue the service at any time.

2. Your account

You may sign in using a third-party OAuth provider (Google, GitHub, Discord, or Microsoft). You are responsible for any activity that occurs under your account. You must be at least 13 years old to use MatchUp.

3. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Use the service for any illegal purpose
• Upload or share content that is harmful, offensive, or violates the rights of others
• Attempt to access another user's account
• Use automated tools to scrape or abuse the service in a way that degrades performance for others

4. Content ownership

You retain ownership of the data you enter (group names, player names, match results). By submitting data, you grant us a licence to store and display it to members of your group.

5. Termination

You can delete your account at any time from your profile page. We reserve the right to suspend or delete accounts that violate these terms.

6. Disclaimer and limitation of liability

MatchUp is provided “as is” without warranty of any kind. We are not liable for any loss of data, loss of profits, or any indirect or consequential damages arising from your use of the service.

7. Governing law

These terms are governed by Danish law. Any disputes shall be resolved in Danish courts.

8. Changes

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
